I enjoyed the tape...it was good...The girls were as natural as could be....and..here is my but' Its not what I personally enjoy..I don't like group scenes....and the lack of an innocent being 'seducted' left me a little dry. Now..if the same general plot...with only 2 or 3 girls...and one or two is a 'first timer' it would have been great. Actually I enjoyed the dancing at the end..as much as anything else..But thats just me....The naturalness of the girls...just made them all the more attractive..and...you could tell that they all were having a good time....Overall I rate this as a 7.

A missed opportunity. It's good when it could have been excellent. The shower scene is top notch, while the scene at the end where the girls dance is powerfully erotic but ultimately fizzles out into nothing. The hot-tub scene is let down by poor camerawork where everything is filmed from a distance. There is a lot of kissing going on but the cameraman seems reluctant to zoom in. Also with several girls in each scene the film lacks intimacy. On the plus side the girls are all attractive and genuinely into each other and despite any criticism it's still better than 90% of the rubbish that passes for erotica these days. It gets a 7/10. Some close-ups of the kissing would have earned it an 8. Had the dancing scene been allowed to reach its natural conclusion then who knows - maybe even a 9. As I said, a missed opportunity.

This video had its good points and its bad points. Let's start with the positives...I really liked the five girls! They were pretty, but not plastic. No fake boobs or platinum-blonde hair, and I also liked the fact that only one girl had a big tattoo on her back (I'm not big on tattoos.) The girls were also refreshingly realistic, they appeared to be really enjoying themselves, and I especially liked their spontaneity and creativity. Yes, this video gets an A+ for casting! Now to the negatives... The camera-work was horrible! On several occasions it's like they locked the camera into position and forgot about it. Sometimes the girls actually moved out of the picture and the camera didn't follow them! Note to cameraman: USE YOUR VIEWFINDER! It's there for a reason! Another gripe: WHY come up with a storyline (e.g. wine that makes women horny) when it never really comes into play? Instead, your video is about five girls who sit around, all talking at once, and then they drink some wine and fall asleep. The next shot has them all in a hot-tub, all talking at once, and then starting to make out (sometimes where we the viewers could even see it!) I did like the way the girls went at it --- great casting! If the producers of this video do a sequel, and I hope they do, let me ask them to PLEASE hire a decent cameraman next time! Also, maybe you can come up with a script of sorts so all the girls won't be talking all at once. And turn off that damn TV in the background! And if you're going to have the girls dance, why not have them dance for eachother instead of for the camera? I think it would be a whole lot sexier that way!

I enjoyed this one too because of the simplicity of the women and how they go about pleasing one another. I'm not fond of liking multiple women lesbian scenes, but this one was interesting because after a while, they sort of pair up with their favorite. And it was nice to see all of the women sharing passionate kisses amongst themselves - especially while they're "wet".

Lovely tape. Relaxed, good-natured fun approach to girl/girl sex.Though the group sex scenes lack some of the intimacy of one-on-one encounters, they more than make up for it by taking intimacy and replacing it with sheer sexual energy. Sugar, the short-haired blonde girl, is easily the most sexually hungry of the group. She is in every scene, kissing, groping, licking and sucking. Her youthful lust seems insatiable. The strongest scene is in my view not the shower scene but the threesome on the bed that follows it. Sugar is (of course) in it, directing traffic as it were, but the other two girls display a healthy dose of sexual desire. The highly erotic results are mouth-watering. The camera work is apalling. It might as well have been a chimp behind the camera. We are told at the end of the video that this is the first of a series. If, hopefully, this is true, then the basic "feel" of the video should be kept, the cameraman should be placed on the next Mars probe and replaced by the cameraman from "Tori and Callie", Sugar should be invited to come back for an encore of her delicious talents, and the lustfulness and sexuality of every scene should be reinforced to the level of the threesome bed scene. A nice one-on-one pairing would also be appreciated.

This movie had lots of potential to be something great, but in the end, poor camerawork leaves the viewer frustrated.As for the storyline, forget it. It really doesn't come into play, and just makes the first 10 minutes of the movie really slow moving and dull. Buy 'Three Girlfriends' instead.

Have to agree with most of the comments here. I can't rate this a 5-star tape, more a *potential* 5-star tape. The girls are all great, and seem very comfortable and relaxed. This is the charm and appeal of the tape. Plot? You tell me! It seems they drink the wine, all fall asleep in ten seconds flat and then dream about having an orgy. Weird! (Or have a missed something?) Sound and camerawork are truly appalling. The sound man was in a different room, and the cameraman on a different planet! A good cameraman is one who anticipates where the action is going and gets there in time to see it - this chap can't see what's happening in front of his eyes! Solution? Send the cute blonde and the other gorgeous girl (Ivy, I think) down to Texas and let the guys at TNV work their magic. George at TNV is complaining that he can't find enough girls who are prepared to go all the way - well here's half a dozen for starters!! [Score: 4/10]

As I promised our hostess Jennifer, although much later than I had hoped to respond, here is my review for the "Legend of Sleepy Mountain Wine"...
I have currently purchased approximately 15 - 20 videos from Lezlove (which I feel is the best site of its kind by far) over this past summer and most of which were those that received rave reviews from the reviewers at Lezlove and from members of the yahoo list, and have to say that I have not been disappointed by any of my purchases... My number one favorite out of all my purchases has been "Legend of Sleepy Mountain Wine", which I have watched over and over again..:) As a girl who loves girl/girl erotic vids, I thought this one was great - through and through. My only disappointment was that there was no indication (and/or follow thru in the video) that the girls planned to "act" on their "erotic" dreams....:) For me, this movie is by far my favorite purchase from Lezlovevideo...:)

As the Editor said, this definitely is a VERY special film, and I have to agree in so much as it is different from any other girl-girl film I have seen. IT IS WONDERFUL! Not hard core, definitely not soft core, but light, airy, touchy-feely, kissing, hugging, more more more! There should be more movies like this one. I have always wanted to see group scenes where the ladies take turns with each other, and everyone kisses and touches everyone else, ya’ know... free lesbian love, and this movie has some of that. I hit the rewind button ALOT watching this for the first time. The Jacuzzi scene is great, as is the shower and lingerie scene in bed. The girls have some differences in age, making it all the better. I especially loved the girl known as Ivy, the youngest looking one of the bunch, who plays the innocent one throughout. Her facial expressions alone make the movie worth owning. She laughs and smiles (as do all the women, definitely a plus, indicating how much they are enjoying what they are doing) throughout. My favorite images are the ones where all four of the other ladies each has a hand on the strings of her bottoms, taking them off as she stands naked on display for them, SWEET! The dialog is different from anything else I have seen as well. The only disappointment was that the final scene, with the dirty dancing could have been explosive if it continued into a group sex scene, but it only got so far, and then stopped. I hope "Mountain" does a remake of this movie (soon!), and carries that scene out to fruition.

"Legend of Sleepy Mountain Wine" was definitely a different sort of movie, and I would whole-heartedly agree that it's one that had enormous potential. The attraction of the Mountain Shadows movies is definitely the amateur quality of the girls...fresh-faced, playful, and engaging. The majority of the time I was listening intently to what the girls were saying. I love dialogue! Well, at least the kind that's pertinent. I wish for once, producers would invest in some good sound equipment. The huge downfall of this movie, as some other critics have pointed out, was the god-awful camera work. I know it's typical for people to think "I could do a better job than this" when watching a pornographic movie. But this was totally the case for this movie. I don't know how many times I caught myself looking to the left or right of the TV screen, at the places I wanted the camera to show. I don't need to see the woman's back for a minute or so. She had nice shoulder blades and all, but please show the oral sex happening on the other side. Other times, the action was shot in low light, or just way too close. You get the sense that great things are going on, but you just wish you could see it better! Okay, well this movie did have some upsides. The girls were great. They were enthusiastic. The sex that you could actually see was great. I like the dancing scenes at the end. Kind of a curtain call for the girls, although it did leave you wanting more. I don't know what to suggest as an alternative. I did see the other Mountain Shadows movie (so far...Felines in the Pines), and it was better. Hopefully the company will put some effort in storyline and camera work...they have the foundation for great movies already.

As a majority of the previous reviewers have said, this video has good points and bad points. First, the good points: The girls do seem to exhibit actual sexual energy and an interest in what they're doing. They look like they're having fun. There's lots and lots of very nice kissing. That's about it for the good points. The bad points: Indeed, the camera work was godawfully appalling, as was the sound. The camera work reminded me of watching the Zapruder Kennedy Assassination footage, or of "The Blair Witch Project," only more grainy. The girls frequently talk about their boyfriends. The cameraman ("Richard") talks to the girls, and they talk back. At one point he said that he wanted to join in. That really turned me off. The sound mix was so bad that most of the time, I couldn't really understand what the girls were saying, particularly during the scenes where they were all talking at the same time. The fold-out cut-scene segways seemed extremely amateurism to me, like a high school news broadcast. I realize that this is an amateur production (to the truest sense of the concept), but I got the impression that the film's editor was making a painstaking attempt to make it _look_ amateurish. There are several sudden jumps in the picture, usually right in the middle of something, which was frustrating. A Pocket Rocket appeared in several of the scenes, which was a turnoff, although the girls did use it sparingly.... In conclusion, it is a nice video. It's not, however, something I could really get into. The inadequicies in production make it too difficult to really concentrate on. The best I can say about The Legend of Sleepy Mountain Wine is that it makes good background imagery while I'm on the computer or something.

I loved it - the only exception being the shower scene but that's not because it was badly done or anything, I just don't like water scenes. The tub scene was OK though and I enjoyed the gradual build-up but I was all the time hoping they would get out quick! I liked all the girls particularly Sugar and Ashley who seemed to have the genuine hots for each other and drew my attention while in the tub as the other three giggled and just messed around. Others have complained about the camera work but it did not interfere with my enjoyment too much and the video quality is superb. The fact that it was all so natural and the girls had so much fun made it for me -I also loved all the talking - wonderful! This is definitely one I will watch again and again. Highly recommended. 8/10.

Finally broke down and bought this one, intrigued by all the customer reviews. I've now watched it three times and I'm still not sure if it's an amazingly erotic lesbian video or if Ed Wood has risen from the dead and decided to do lesbian porn ala “Plan Nine from Outer Space”. Actually it's both, and therein lies my frustration. Watching these cute but decidedly normal women get relaxed, then naked, then sexy, and finally grinding their pussies together is very unique and extremely erotic. They all get five stars from me but they deserve much better from the clowns that hacked this thing together. I spent half the time with my jaw on the floor because the sex is so good and the other half cursing the woman who gave birth to the jerk holding the camera and all of her ancestors. If your blood pressure can tolerate it, buy this tape.

I dunno, the above comments seem so unanimous, but what I saw was lots of fooling around but very little actual (or convincing) sex and when there maybe was some, it got spoiled by the rotten camerawork and the presence of dildos. Why oh why are those damn things so ubiquitous?!

First, let me say that group scenarios are not my biggest turn-on. There's too much clutter, and not enough intimacy. That said, this video was still very exciting. There's a "mood" here that’s almost palpable. All of the girls seem like genuine friends and sexually comfortable with each other and nothing looks like it was faked. They're also all very cute and young-looking. Yeah, the picture's grainy, and the sound quality is less than perfect, to say the least, but the raw heat of this video shines through all that anyway. All that snow must really make you want to cuddle up with somebody! If you're looking for "something different", this is your video. Very playful atmosphere, limited toy use, tons of kissing, all manner of foreplay and graphic sexual relations between all parties concerned is what you get here. Forget the plot! I'm so tired of hearing about the lack of plot in amateur movies. These are raw, made for your pleasure sex videos. A plot would only slow things down on an already limited budget. As I've said before, if you want a story to get in to (which I'm all for, if you've read my NR/Rated reviews) there's plenty of movies here ranging from good to great in terms of story content, character development, etc... Now back to the review. For the down sides. Besides the technical quality, I would have really liked to see them pair up, and go into some one-on-one situations, but that was not in the recipe here. Maybe we'll see more of these girls in future videos. We can always hope. I have been very impressed with Mountain Shadow productions, and look forward to more from them. Highly recommended for amateur connoisseurs!

This tape is maddening. As others have noted here, the camera work is just awful - beyond awful, in fact. Also, the use of sex toys here is even more intrusive than usual: I can't imagine why any woman would use a "pocket rocket" as an inserted dildo (unless, well, instructed to do so by a clueless director)... ugh, I could just go on and on. What (almost) redeems the tape is the extreme attractiveness of the women - young, natural, healthy, unselfconscious Rocky Mountain types. (They all do a short striptease together at the end which is extremely hot.) It is just so *infuriating*, though, to see all that talent and beauty thrown away on several completely un-arousing and poorly filmed sex scenes. The only other positive thing I can say is that "Legend of Sleepy Mountain Wine 02" is MUCH better than this. I only hope that the women of "Legend 01" will appear in another video soon.

CRAP!!!CRAP!!!CRAP!!!CRAP!!! It can't possibly get much worse than this. There's no real chemistry or passion between the girls. In one scene a girl says that there's no batteries in her pocket rocket and another girl tells her to 'just pretend it works'. There's only 2 very short scenes between the same girls that has any real passion but what difference does that make if you can't see anything! This was my second purchase and I'm looking forward to my third because whatever it is ('Pleasing Kinsey' actually), it has to be better than this.

Considering how many reviews mention bad camera work I was braced for the worst. I didn’t get it. I don’t think the camera work is very bad at all. Sure, there are some missed shots and bad angles here and there and there could have been more close-ups but ninety percent of the time I found nothing to complain about. The image quality is another matter. It’s fairly poor, the tape has that slightly pixilated copy of a copy look and the color is a bit washed out. It’s still watchable though. Technical issues aside this is a great video. As mentioned in many other reviews the feeling is one of fun and playfulness, yet all the girls seem really into the sex. They constantly do sexy, flirty things like lick necks and backs, hump thighs and suck fingers. It’s especially exciting because you can tell they’re doing these things spontaneously. There isn’t much oral but what there is is good. There’s also some good trib. There is a little toy use but it’s not at all the center of attention, the toys are just there. Everything moves along at a nice pace. The only time things bog down is during the few non sex scenes, but those are easy enough to ff past. The feel of this movie reminds me of “San Francisco Lesbians 1” for those who’ve seen that. Lots of happy, friendly, sexy, lusty fun. Only the mediocre image quality prevents me from giving this vid five stars instead of four.

I purchased this movie based on the very sexy cover and the flattering reviews it had received. What a BIG mistake. This might be the worst lesbian movie I have ever seen. No chemistry, lousy camera work, no orgasms and the most disturbing thing was the male cameraman talking to the women throughout the whole tape. Awful. It did not help either that the women in this video kept mentioning their "boyfriends" Huh? This is a LESBIAN movie! That this video is rated as a five star film throws every other 5 star rated film on this sight into question. If this video was a restaurant I would have food poisoning.
