This tape is worth getting just for the shower scene. The two hispanic girls look great kissing and look like they're doing it because they like it.

To tell you the truth I expected a lot more from this video. There is a super HOT shower/sofa scene between Lupe and this other pretty latina. The only complaint I would have is the annoying rap music played in the backround.. otherwise it's pretty good or possibly the best latina lesbian video out there for now.

The shower scene is just amazing. The two girls really tear into each other! It should be mandatory viewing for all actresses to see how kissing should be done in a lesbian love scene. When the two girls make it to the sofa, turn the sound down or hear a truly awful rap song. Great oral though on the couch!

It is a good movie, it has some boring moments, but there is a scene that really turns me on: the shower scene. It’s amazing, the girls know what they are doing, you can watch it like five times and you never get bored. The other scenes are normal, I mean just kissing and licking, nothing new or original.

Hmmm. Here’s a thought. With the standards of lesbian adult video rapidly accelerating over the last few years, movies that were once rated 5 stars now only deserve 4 or maybe even three. What I saw here was decent, but not exceptional by today's standards. The much adored shower scene kiss lasts only about 10-20 seconds and that was the best scene on the tape. Compare that to other producers now, where the girls kiss for several minutes, several times. However, just the fact that this came from Vivid astonishes me. 99% of what they produce is not only un-erotic to me, and probably most women, but even downright offensive sometimes. Not here. Perhaps that is why it got 5 stars. For them it is a five star movie, even today. I was impressed with the lack of toys and the sensual lovemaking. The girls are mostly all pretty, with a couple of beauties, and there's just something about Latina women. Anyway, I would still recommend this video for its novelty and some pretty decent scenes. If Vivid had stayed on this path, they would undoubtedly be making videos that LLV customers would rave about instead of complain about. Unfortunately, this was a one-time deal. Grade: B- P.S. For me, what sucks about dealing with amateur films is that I have to actually buy them as opposed to renting them from the adult rental website that I’m a member of, who don’t seem to carry amateur titles (except for a lone copy of Greywood’s “KissMe Girl: Vol. 1,” which I haven’t been able to get a hold of). Instead of spending $3.99 on a rental, for certain amateur titles, I have to spend $9.99 here for purchase, which makes me extra paranoid about the quality of the movie for the increased cost. In these situations, I rely on the other reviewers of this site more than anything to tell me what they can about the movie: is it a five-star title, does it have toys in it, is the kissing and oral sex any good, etc, etc. When I bought the second “Kiss” film starring Tatiana and Sabrina, the results were a bit mixed. The kitchen scene, of course, was very good while the rest of the movie came up short. When I made the decision to purchase “Vivid Raw #9,” I was pretty much hoping for the same thing. It’s got some positive reviews, a single scene that’s particularly adored, and is described by one of the reviewers as having ‘literally no dildos at all’ (I thought the lack of a ‘toy-free’ label might’ve just been a mistake). So it was with confidence in what I was doing that I wound up buying the film and watching it that same night until sometime early into the next morning. Never in my life have I been so deceived by such unworthy praise for a movie, pornographic or otherwise. Before we get into that, though, let’s make one thing perfectly clear: THIS IS NOT A TOY-FREE MOVIE! I don’t know what the hell Editor is talking about when he/she says ‘literally no dildos,’ but he/she must be talking about another movie. There are toys throughout the entire movie, including the shower scene that everyone seems to love despite the strap-on that makes its appearance somewhere near the end (why does no one at least mention THAT?). There’s not even a ‘toy-free’ label on this page, so what that sentence is doing here I haven’t a clue. Like I said, Editor must’ve been watching a different movie or something ‘cause this sure as hell isn’t it… As for the film itself? If you can’t already tell, I dislike it. In fact, I hate it with the incredible intensity of a thousand George Foreman grills burning in the sun, partly because it’s so beneath what these other reviews and the film’s trailer set my expectations, but also because it’s a genuinely shitty thing to have to sit through. It really confounds me that this got the five-star seal of approval from the Lezlove staff. I know the ratings here aren’t official, but even so, this manure pile is about as much of a five-star effort as Wesley Snipes is Caucasian. “Big Ass Slumber Party” doesn’t get five stars from either me or the website and it’s better than this. It, too, may be a toy festival, but it at least has some decent kissing and oral sex. The best “Vivid Raw” has to offer is, of course, the shower scene, which is genuinely good, but that’s only before the strap-on comes out. It doesn’t completely dominate the scene, but it’s a fucking toy and I hate those so to me it doesn’t matter. Of course, the rest of the scenes just suck and feature a lot of the over-the-top moaning and porn talk that comes with porn actresses simply hamming it up. Quite literally, the women here barely touch lips let alone get down to any real, deep kissing. When they DO get close enough to one another, they mostly just do that annoying tongue-flicking thing that timid actresses do when they don’t really want to kiss the person they’ve been partnered up with, like they’re afraid they’ll catch the gayness or something. As if this wasn’t bad enough, there’s also loud-ass rap music playing in the background for the viewer to groan and cringe to. RAP MUSIC! The fuck is wrong with this director?! Background music in pornography is unwanted enough when it’s just wordless elevator music drowning out the vocals of the performers (or if their voices are cut out entirely), but rap music?! Who the hell wants to hear some smack-talking gangster fool in the background while they watch girls kiss? It’s also annoying how it’ll sometimes just start blasting out of nowhere during the quiet part of a scene, as if some idiot behind the camera realized too late that music was supposed to be playing and simply pressed ‘Play’ on the studio’s boom box. If there’s even a pin point of light to be found in this dark, dark tunnel besides the shower scene (which only takes place in a shower for a minute or so before moving to what I assume is some type of living room or den), it’s the set-up for the last scene. Not the scene itself, it sucks balls just like everything else here, just the set-up. Basically, two friends (who also appear at the beginning of the video during an odd and pointless bit on how to be a ‘fly girl’) decide to explore their bi-curious desires with one another after one of them has just been shunned by her man, whom she called in order to set up a date. I don’t know what it is, but the idea of two girls who are friends making out has always been a major turn on for me and it was this that gave me a glimmer of hope that the movie, probably the worst cinematic experience I’ve ever had to endure, might at least end on a good note. Of course, I was dead wrong. The sex is as weak as it is in the other three scenes and, literally, the only time the two touch lips is at the very end of the scene, a light peck on the lips. Otherwise, they just lick tongues in that annoying way that I mentioned earlier, and a modest, purple dildo eventually finds its way into the mix. I can’t believe I paid $9.99 – ANY money, in fact – for this. Once again, this film sucks. Screw this piece of crap’s five stars and the other reviews posted here, I’d sooner flush my money down the toilet than give any more of it to this studio or director. At least then I’d know where it was going. I bought this thinking it was going to be a similar experience to “Kiss” 2 and found out that this movie’s title doesn’t even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as that. “Kiss” may only have the one good scene in it, but at least the kissing is good and there aren’t any toys. My style is usually more reserved than this, but “Vivid Raw,” thanks in part to my heightened expectations, brought out the worst in me. For those who like no toys and deep kissing, rent or buy a Viv Thomas title, then treat this movie like crack and just leave it alone. Score: 1.5 out of 5 stars.
