As a general comment, I liked Legends & Starlets 2 quite a bit. The legends themselves, I thought, all looked terrific. A little older, but all still wonderfully fit. Shayla Laveaux looked the least unchanged, I thought, of any of the three (Lisa Ann being in a different category, since she is still very much an active and in-demand performer). I thought Nica filmed them beautifully, with a lens that added dramatically to the lushness of all of the women. And I also thought that the match-ups themselves were well planned. My general complaints were two. Sweetheart uses too many close-ups for my tastes. But I realized that my complaint is not just about too many close-ups, it is also that the close-ups are almost always at the foot of the women, and there are virtually never any medium shots from there. Medium shots are almost always of a side view of the women.
My other general complaint was with the setups for the scenes. The only setup that I thought really worked to enhance the sex that followed was the one between Nina Hartley and Sara Stone.
Neither of these complaints were anywhere near enough to keep me from enjoying the movie itself.
Lisa Ann & Sinn Sage
This was my favorite scene. Fellini, in La Dolce Vita, used Anita Eckberg to exemplify the personification and idealization of Woman. For me, Lisa Ann, with her voluptuous body and stunningly beautiful face, could fill the same role.
