Description
In the tradition of Poison Ivy, Alyssa Milano (Who's the Boss, Double Dragon) plays Charlotte, a sensuous but innocent college freshman who is being seduced by the most obsessive lovers. A lover (Martin Kemp, The Drays) who comes to her only in dreams - a dark, handsome vampire who touches her in forbidden places and will stop at nothing to arouse her passion. As she is drawn deeper and deeper into the vampire's erotic world of carnal pleasure, Charlotte is forced to make a choice, between her college boyfriend and her nighttime lover, between sweet romance and uncontrollable lust, between the forces of light and the power of dark, between true love...and eternal possession. Charlotte Lewis (Excessive Force) and Jennifer Tilly (Oscar Nomination, Best Supporting Actress - Bullets Over Broadway, The Getaway) co-star in this sexy tale.

Illusion
Depending on what you're looking for, this is either a great video, or the worst. Die hard fans of vampire lore, avoid this like a crucifix. Fans of Alyssa Milano, on the other hand, this is exactly what you've been looking for!
Critic: Bram Stoker must have been spinning in his grave when this was made. Aside from a way to see Alyssa Milano naked and kissing another woman, this movie has no point! The plot is implausible, inconsistent, and at times incoherent. By the end, I felt as if 93 minutes of my life had been stolen irretrievably away from me.
Rating: D+
Lover: Well that's rather a melodramatic way of putting it, but I'll agree that this movie was a disappointment. There was some kissing, which is always good, but Charlotte wasn't actually interested in Sarah. She was just acting trampy because the vampire had mesmerized her. No love here, just a brainwashed carnal stupor.
Rating: C+
Voyeur: Yeah, but it's Alyssa Milano! They can show Alyssa Milano washing dishes and it'd be worth watching (provided she's topless at the time)! Sure, there could have been more, but what we saw was unforgettable. If you have ever fantasized about what Alyssa Milano looks like topless, it's even better than you think. The first seduction scene has one of the best buildups I've ever seen. Unfortunately, the lesbian portions end abruptly with an I'm-too-scared-to-go-through-with-this excuse. What they needed to do was give up on the lame-o plot, and just focus on making more opportunities for Alyssa and Charlotte to get together.

Anon in Alabama
Seduction is everything my friends! And there's something very hot about an upperclassman seducing that pretty little freshman she's had her eye on! And even though Alyssa tragically cuts the scene short by panicking and exiting the room, I was happy with what was a highly erotic scene between two very sexy women! Grade A-

If you haven't seen this movie by now, what in the name of all that is straight-to-video are you waiting for? Actually, this movie leaves a lot to be desired from a plot/story point of view. A great vampire film it isn't. There has been much written and talked about Alyssa Milano's nude scenes in this film/video, and rightly so. Although something she would probably just as soon be forgotten, she actually is indeed the best thing about this film, both from acting and sexual points of view. The producers reportedly sneaked (or included) more nude footage in the final cut than Milano was alleged to have been told would be left in (and not just her scenes, but also the pseudo-Coppola Dracula sequence at the beginning of the picture). In looking at the much talked about (and very well written and acted, too) scene between Alyssa Milano and Charlotte Lewis, it actually does not have as much "sex" in it as one might be led to believe. But the build up, acting, and roving camera make it very well done professionally as well as sensually. Now, having seen it, and the rest of the film, one can truly say that the producers and director were MORONS!!! Yes, their final film is FUBAR. This scene, and the later one between Lewis and Milano, have the look and feel of something genuine, not just titillating. What they should have done is lose the Jeremy Kemp vampire character, and do a modern telling of Carmilla! They had all of the elements, including two very good actresses in Milano and Lewis. The whole “seduction of the innocent” that plays out in Sheridan LeFanu's short story is beautifully captured here, if only for a brief while. With Charlotte Lewis as Carmilla and Alyssa Milano as Laura, the movie could have been a much bigger and better film. Alas, ‘twas not meant to be - IDIOTS!
