From Seduction Cinema comes Erotic Survivor, the very first spoof of the hugely successful reality television show, Survivor. Stranded hundreds of feet from civilization (!) were the eight competitors who made up the two warring tribes. Seduction Cinema favorites Darian Caine and Jade DuBoir teamed up with Misty Mundane and Esmerelda DellaRocco (all of them from Gladiator Eroticvs) to comprise the "Pu-nanni" Tribe; and on the opposing "Hey-hu-nanni" Tribe, Mary Whitehead (B-movie star Debbie Rochon), Chris Wright (Justin Wingenfeld), Ward Lucas (Bill Hellfire) and Bernie Lombardo (Joey Smack). Presiding over this challenge was renowned Erotica director John Bacchus who was right out there with all the contestants, roughing it with them from the comfort of his air-conditioned trailer while the survivors were devoured by bugs, wild animals...and each other!

Notes: Most of the scenes in this video (four girl/girl) suffer from rapid-cut-style editing ala Andrew Blake. It drives me up a wall. The only scene I momentarily dug is the last one (the second 4-way scene). The girls are paired off on one another and straddling one another as they kiss and fondle each other.

I watch a lot more videos than I actually review, so I’ll be posting notes occasionally for videos I see.

Illusion
I'm just glad that this time, it's not the fat guy who's walking around naked.

Critic: It's like watching Survivor, but without the drama, and with some gratuitous lesbian sex scenes thrown in. As a parody it fails because it's not really that much funnier than the actual show. The best joke happens within the first five minutes, and after that it's downhill. The players are caricatures, the challenges are... well about as interesting as the ones in the TV show. It just looks like John Bacchus and his friends decided to get together and play Survivor. I doubt much real writing went into this, which in some ways is good, because it gives the video a spontaneous, unscripted feel. However it's also bad because it means that the only humor in the dialog comes from the players' improvisation, and that is sorely lacking. However, it looks like the actors had fun making this spoof, and that feeling is contagious enough to make it mildly enjoyable to watch.

Lover: On the positive side, it's no more pointless than any of the other mindless skin flicks coming out of Seduction. Physically, the girls seem to be enjoying each other, and at one point they try to make it sound like two of them are making a connection, but let's be honest, it's all just for show. The love scenes are just thrown in there and have absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the storyline (if you can call it that).

Voyeur: When the sex scenes do take place, they are pretty enjoyable. The girls are very hot and range from silicone pumped to natural, from fairskinned to exotically dark, with wildly varying shades of hair color, variety being the spice of life. The scenes are fun, and while there's not as much heat or intensity as I've found in some of Seduction's movies (particularly the Erotic Witch Project pair), it is good in that they try out a lot of different techniques. However, way too much time is spent on the actual game, which to me makes no sense. Who cares about interviewing the players or following the progress of the challenges? If they had wanted to get some character definition into the storyline, they should have let that censorship girl's character evolve and develop to the point where she joins in the other team's lesbian trysts. Now that would have been some skillful writing.

Those buffoons at Seduction Cinema COULD have made a really erotic video about a bunch of hot babes left on a deserted island all by their gorgeous selves, instead they made this piece of crap which is a "Survivor" parody with a few girl-girl scenes included to keep the viewer even remotely interested.

Note to Seduction Cinema: LOSE THE GUYS!!! They're not funny! The fast-search button on my VCR got a real work-out during all those amusing "Survivor" parody scenes. The female casting was great, but even then most of their scenes together were kind of lame and uninteresting. I just thought this video was a big disappointment. Grade: C-

Considering the disappointment I had with Gladiator Eroticus, I really didn't have much faith in this parody of Survivor from Seduction Cinema. Well, this time it's a good effort.

Though it does mimic Survivor too closely, offering footage of alliances being made, broken, and interviews with the participants, a good number of lesbian scenes are thrown in to keep things lively.

The scenes are well done and, in the case of Darian's scene with the purple-haired girl, quite erotic.

And for all you trib fans out there (I got your attention now) this video has, surprisingly, lots of trib. During the mudpit orgy, the four girls scissor their legs and lock loin for a good bit a all-natural girl love. But with all that mud in the way, you'll have to use your imagination. And during the final orgy scene, the same four girl scissor themselves and get into some good girl-grinding. Without the mud to get in the way, the scene does generate heat.

Not a bad effort; but not as good as EWP.

tell it like it is
I purchased this movie through a "good deal" from another company, and IT WAS HORRIBLE. The whole thing was a complete waste of time and talent. Those thinking of buying it, DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$$$.
