Anon in 'Bama
There were some really good moments in this one! I personally like lesbian vampire movies, but only if the lesbian vampires actually prey on other women, and in this one they do just that! Basically, Jade DuBoir is the evil vampire who takes control of the beautiful blonde Anoushka, while Darian Caine tries to get Anoushka back with her. No complaints about the casting. All of the women are beautiful. Jade DuBoir makes an excellent dominant woman. My favorite scene is the one where she and Anoushka kidnap pretty A.J. Kahn and proceed to 'molest' her in an abandoned building. I especially liked the way A.J. would say "no" only to have Anoushka slap her on the ass and then take control of her as directed to by DuBoir. Very hot and kinky! I credit the crew at Seduction Video for halting their precipitous decline of recent years. Their latest releases are steadily improving, and are certainly more erotic and entertaining.

This is a *really* good video. Good in the sense that it's a lesbian vampire tale that is actually really entertaining and creepy. The lesbian scenes are excellent and erotic, though there are a few scenes that are not for the squeamish. (Blood - there's blood everywhere!) And the storyline is actually interesting. Kudos to Seduction Cinema for making a video that is - intelligent.

“Vampire Obsession” is a pretty good film for the girl/girl porn lover who isn’t yet old enough or bold enough to buy the real thing. I exclude everyone else because I don’t see the point in watching this film if “Lesbian Cheerleader Squad” is an option. “Daughters of Darkness” - sure; “The Vampire Lovers” - absolutely; but not this film, with its five-page script and claustrophobic porno sets. This isn’t a vampire film with sex, it’s a sex film with a blood fetish. The boxcover photo depicting Anoushka with the classic vampire canines is, at best, metaphorical. The only bloodletting in this film comes at the edge of a knife. Yet writer/director John Bacchus isn’t interested in stepping through the door into psychological vampirism that George Romero’s “Martin” opened, either; he’d rather go in through a side window, instead - the one that leads into the rumpus room. Because that’s all this film has to offer: lots and lots of unrated girl/girl sex, strung together on a shoestring plot too thin to support even many hardcore films. It’s genuine porno sex, though, within the limitations of its rating. The girls assume the customary positions and perform all the customary actions (even if, during the oral sequences, it’s often quite obvious they’re well off the mark). Still, if this film has anything its more explicit cousins don’t have, it’s a result of its softer rating: more kissing and more breast play - a fact for which Bacchus nevertheless deserves some credit; I’ve seen a number of softcore films that offer far less in their girl/girl scenes. Is it enough? That depends on your demographic. But if it is, you would be well advised to select the DVD edition, which includes a Behind-the-Scenes feature (clocking in at about two-thirds the length of the film) that proffers a great deal more nudity, as well as a revealing shot of Anoushka that ought to please anyone with a Pause button on his remote.

Fangs! Where are the Fangs? This is a vampire movie isn't it? And I do spot some fangs on the sleeve. Sorry, but lesbian vampires that cut their victims' throats (using $1 plastic knives) instead of biting like they should do just don't cut it with me.

I own a lot of the Seduction Cinema movies on video tape including this movie. Seduction Cinema is good for those of you who do not like hardcore lesbian movies or don't have the money buy a more professionally made video. Having said that, "Vampire Obsession" in my opinion is OK, not great or good, but OK. For one, the title is misleading. "Vampire Obsession"? I don't think so. Jade DuBoir plays more of a lesbian serial killer with a taste, and I do mean it literally, for draining young women of their blood. Second, Darian Caine is so obnoxious in this movie. This one of the few movies that I could not stand Darian Caine being in and I like Darian Caine. About the only redeeming value of "Vampire Obsession" is Anoushka. Now, I generally do not like women with short hair, but I have to admit Anoushka is one hot babe. She has a body that won't quit and her short blonde hair really compliments her hot bod. The closing scene of Anoushka masturbating in the sleazy hotel room after she realizes that Jade and Darian had left her is about the only thing that kept this movie from going down the crapper.

This movie was a real disappointment in my opinion. I love lesbian vampire movies, but they need fangs! To me a woman with fangs is the sexiest thing. The movie has its up and down points. Seduction cinema could have done more with the movie. All i can really say is that if you were looking for a movie with fangs "LOOK ELSEWERE"
