Remember when Wolfe Video released "Cynara"? I thought it was the most tepid erotic video ever. "Do these women even want to have sex?" I thought. Then came "Goodbye Emma Jo". It was better - a lot better. These women actually wanted to go farther (I could sense that the sentiments were much stronger than just merely having sex). And that video had it all, including a really lusty strap-on scene. Now, Wolfe Video has released "I Wish You Would" and it's quite a leap from the first two released I've mentioned. This video heads for territory once only the domain of XXX, and a place where “true” lesbian erotic videos never whet. How the times have changed. Not only is this video explicit, it's downright raunchy in its sex, which is great! The scenes are not that contrived, really. These women meet, spend a little casual time together before they're on each other like crazy. In terms of its sexual energy, it's a more honest effort than Cynara, and it builds on the ground erotic opened by Goodbye Emma Jo. I'm pleased to see that Wolfe Video has finally made up its mind what it wants to present as lesbian erotica, including all that great sex.

I very rarely post a review, I just watched the movie and I was disappointed, I would not give this a five star. It's way too short first of all. The scenes were choppy, and quiet a few toys come to play. I believed this tape was a try out for the director, maybe she was getting her feet wet in this field and I have to say she succeeded. Good points about the movie, very clear, the disc was sharp, nice color, great locations, the girls were into it. I also like the 30-something women to the 20-something women contrast. Next time I hope she develops a full scale movie and I believed she learned what she has to do. So hopefully the next movie would be a 5 star for me.

When I noticed that this movie was from Wolfe Video and directed by a woman I was hoping that it would be a cut above in character development, dialogue and especially eroticism. The dialogue and acting are a bit amateurish and the plot is very thin, but it’s nice that they made the effort and it does add a bit of interest to the movie. Where this movie does disappoint are the sex scenes. The biggest problems are the brevity of the scenes, some poorly chosen camera angles and the lack of close-ups. There isn’t as much kissing and foreplay as I’d hoped for and what there was of it was often shot from across the room or it was blocked by an arm or shoulder. It’s especially frustrating because there are some very good moments, but they never last very long. These good moments just gave me a glimpse of how good this movie could have been. For example, in the scene in which the two very attractive women on the red and white bedspread are together they begin a very steamy kiss in close-up but no more than two seconds into it there is a cut to a shot from way across the room. Very frustrating. They go on to some foreplay and oral but because the action is shot from the foot of the bed you just see the back of one of the women as her head wiggles around. Well, that’s enough whining about what I didn’t like. What I did like were the atypical actresses of different ages and body types, the naturalness of some of the sex scenes, and when shot right, the high level of sensuality of some of the action. When you can see it some of the kissing is great, there’s also some excellent oral, and there are some nice sexy things like neck nibbling and back licking. Perhaps my expectations were just too high, this isn’t a bad movie by any means, I think I was just hoping for something extraordinary. It’s not bad, it’s not great, it’s just GOOD. Rating system: AWFUL, BAD, FAIR, GOOD, VERY GOOD, EXCELLENT

For the most part, I generally look at the side panel pix first than proceed immediately to Phathead's review. Clearly, his reviews are the most perceptive of all. I agree whole-heartedly once again with Phathead's review as well as that of our beloved editor. The first and last scenes most assuredly steal the show. However, as a long time Wolfe observer, this video has clearly taken their productions in a different direction. Our intrepid realtor (the blonde in the first and last scenes) seems to make her day as much as she did mine. Despite her enhanced assets, she is warm, cuddly, charming and white hot. Whether she is the aggressor or the seduced, she shines. I would have liked longer love scenes and less (or no) music. I would have preferred the butch security guard to have short hair rather than her lengthy tresses (this would have perpetuated the stereotype for me). I would have loved to see the butchy mechanic take our realtor into a backroom with a bed or at least into the back seat of a car that she was repairing. True, toys and rubber gloves are a turnoff. However, when Lacey the realtor puts her hand down our mechanics jeans and feels a strap-on and gives a wide smile and a "thank you", the toy became a true necessity. In "Goodbye Emma-Jo" the strap-on scene featured one girl on her back and the other on top of her in the basic "missionary position". This allowed for deep kissing and mutual love making. I can never understand why "doggy-style" is so over-used as in the last scene in this video. Wolfe has done a superb job in making the various relationships seem real and believable. A little tenderness added to the realism of love making between women. All we need to do is make the love making scenes a little longer and a tad more "loving" and we are there. I could watch an entire video of just Lacey and Jennifer or Lacey and the mechanic. Go for it, Wolfe, you're really on to something.

I liked this a lot, and I think most of the previous reviewers have been on target. It's very hot to see porn that has reasonably "real" sex plus a well-written, erotic plot. A question to those people who object to the use of sex toys in porn: has it occurred to you that some women use them *in real life?* It's not like strap-ons are manufactured solely for the video industry. Their use in this particular video seems, to me, both appropriate and very hot. My only complaint would be with "Daisy," the "realtor" with giant, rock-hard, silicone-inflated breasts and a big tattoo on the side of her neck. She handles the two scenes she's in with the same robotic detachment as any Vivid mannequin. Fortunately everyone else is pretty good. I'd like to see more videos like this.

What can I say this movie is definitely a 5-Star Film. What grabs you right from the beginning is the feeling that each girl gives off. Everyone in the film is truly enjoying themselves in each scene. The scene in the bar is by far the best, the build up for each is fantastic. The only negative thing that I can say about this movie, is that after watching it I am going to be disappointed by most other offerings.

I wish they had. Produced some better girl-girl porn, that is. Problems: First, some atrocious breast jobs. In particular, whoever vandalized Lauren Tate, the otherwise 10+ blonde in the first and last scenes, should be shoved head-first into a barrel of silicone. Second, the sub-Vivid plotting: Only in a porn movie does someone turn up to look at a house and then spontaneously tear all her clothes off and leap into the bath, preliminary to seducing the realtor (even Annette Benning would blink at a client like that). Only in a porn movie does someone not only keep copious supplies of ice dildoes in her cool box, but lounge naked by the pool playing with them after forgetting to close the front door. Only in a porn movie can a woman have rampaging casual sex then, ten minutes later, reappear in a romantic tryst telling her steady girlfriend - apparently supposedly sincerely - that she loves her to bits. Finally (this is a minor hang-up of mine) only in porn movies do people wear watches while having sex - actually, this last is not strictly true, but modulo dorks it is. If you are making a Vivid-like porn movie, then all this is not a problem, but I'm not convinced the world needs more Vivid-like porn movies, and neither, I suspect, are the women who made this. Third, the scenes are way too short. What is too short? Well do the math: five scenes with *lots* of dramatic set-up in 62 minutes. Dramatic setup is nice, but erotic set-up is nicer, indeed is surely most of the point. On the up-side the women are all attractive, some of them very much so, and - modulo occasional bad surgery - non-porn like, and they look to be enjoying themselves (the crack about Vivid is maybe a bit unfair - nobody here, e.g., gets their breasts slapped). And the last scene, in which Lauren Tate gets wham-bammed by a butch mechanic packing a strapon, may be short, but is still a keeper (fortunately, Lauren keeps her blouse on). Five stars? Alas, don't think so.

There are definitely some very positive things to report about this DVD, although I won't say it was perfect. I thought a good portion of it was really hot, and I applaud the creativity and imagination shown by the writers/director! The moments that especially stood out for me included an early scene in which Daisy the realtor (Lauren Tate) catches pretty Jennifer (Trinity Striver) taking a bath. I really loved that moment when she approaches the pretty young flight attendant from behind and begins caressing her lovely nude body. Trinity was delightfully submissive. It added immensely to the overall eroticism. Later, I also enjoyed Trinity's scene with Judy the security guard (Suni Daze). Again, a great set-up, and I liked the way Trinity allowed Suni to take charge of her. I didn't care all that much for the next couple of scenes as they devolved into the usual I-do-you-then-you-do-me sex scenes that I've come to detest over the years, even though the women were all very attractive and there was at least an attempt made at setting them up together. The final scene with Lauren Tate being taken from behind by her butch car mechanic (Taylor Luv) was also pretty good, even though it lacked the sub/dom aspects of Tate's earlier scene with Trinity Striver, which would certainly have made it so much better. Yes, while perhaps this entire video could have been so much better, overall it was nonetheless a very solid effort worthy of five stars, at least in my opinion.

A good movie, nothing great. Interesting women, could have done better with the content and length and depth of intimacy, sex scenes but on the right track. I enjoyed it for the set up also. There are many i would purchase ahead of this but I still watch certain scenes over and it is much better than most lez porn.

I thought this DVD was great. Very pretty women and all scenes were done with good taste. The only complaint I have, I wish there were more trib scenes and that they would last longer. Good work otherwise!

Five excellent scene ideas that are all blown opportunities. I just didn't get it at all. Lack of passion, lack of kissing, too many tattoos. This outfit should take a lesson from Girlfriends Films - cut it to three scenes and make them work! Some beautiful women, but simply no realistic easing into sex - just bad acting.

This was an excellent little video, very worthy of a 5-star rating. Writer/director Kelly Howard gets more erotic bang in a fifteen-minute vignette than sadly most directors can elicit in a 60 or 90-minute video. First, I knew beforehand the scenes would be short; I just didn't think they would be as good as they were. You’ve got to love a scene where a gorgeous blonde realtor uses her clients’ homes to set up lesbian encounters. I think the Daisey /Jennifer hook-up should be awarded vignette of the year or something to that effect. Two beautiful career-babes getting it on in bed together will blow me away every time. I had to watch this scene four times before I could get through it, and that's saying a lot, since it was only about fifteen minutes. Now, of course, as a viewer you have to read your own self-imposed lead-in or build-up with a scene such as this. For example, I imagined these babes met a couple of times prior to this scene, perhaps at Daisey's office, and through the sexual innuendo that only women can perform with each other so subtly, they knew eventually they would jump into bed together, which brings you to the beginning of this great scene. The third scene I also thought was quite good, between Judy and bar-babe Shelby; they share an energetic ride on a double dong dildo that really rocked the bed (I wish I were under it)! I hope this is not the last we've seen from Kelly Howard. I thought she did a great job with this video - perhaps she'll have more time to focus on just one or two scenes next venture.
The Original Lezlover
I really liked the production value on this one, but can't give it 5 stars. I also liked the idea of linking all the characters together. But some of the setups just don't come off like the sequence with Jennifer, the flight attendant, and Judy, the "butch" security guard. I hope the makers of this film try again and work on the set ups and the performances. I really wish they would.
The Kommander
Though there are some negative reviews, I really looked forward to seeing this. But I was very disappointed. I’ve watched it five times now, and unfortunately it doesn't get any better, as with some productions. The only positive thing is the plot, and that was the only original thing about this movie, but concerning the sex scenes, this positivism is very relative. The sex is uninspiring, almost boring, the acting is not even amateurish, it's just bad, and though the music wasn't too loud, it was there. And of course, the toys. Really bad. I really had high hopes that "I Wish You Would" would have been something original or somehow inventive to the genre, but it really falls flat. And if you want to add a real plot and story to a porn movie, then plan 90 or 180 minutes to do so if you're not a genius. I'm sorry to say, but Kelly Howard is definitely not a genius. If it was just another porn movie and no one would have hyped it, I definitely would say it's a nice film, though still way too short. But even so, it couldn't live up to my expectations; it was nowhere near.
