You certainly get your money's worth in this one! Ten scenes, each featuring the gorgeous Sammy Jane and another exceedingly beautiful girl. And no, they don't ignore each other's sexy derrieres, either! If I have any kind of a problem with this one it's in Viv Thomas's writing. If Sammy's going to seduce a girl they should at least make an effort at seduction. Like in KITCHEN, where Sammy says she wants to seduce her neighbor. Instead the neighbor instantly agrees so off they go! Only in PICNIC does Sammy's foreign friend show the slightest hesitation. And in ARTIST, where Sammy is the nude model for a female painter, why not have the painter do the seducing? It would have been hotter that way! Still, that aside I loved watching these incredibly beautiful women together! My favorite scene was probably BAR, where Sammy picks-up a girl and fairly dominates her! Again, extraordinarily beautiful women with very lovely bodies. Typical Viv Thomas fare!

As far as comparing Sam Gets Her Girl to Babe Abroad goes, they both have the Viv Thomas trademarks of striking videography, rich colours, incredibly beautiful women, and the best in soft core anywhere. Though Sandy is only featured in one episode here (likely as on the 2nd season DVD), Sammy Jayne is an English beauty who loves women. The scenes are only 15mins in length, but they are hot and exceptionally well done. If you like Viv Thomas' work, this one will satisfy.

Damn... is Viv Thomas the king or what?! I’ve heard it said that scenes that are only 15 minutes in length can't possibly be good. Well, all that means is that the director has to be economical with the time. Truth is, these 15 minute scenes have more pop in them than scenes lasting 30 minutes or more, because the action has to move along efficiently. And this is a good thing, because there's no room for pointless plot outlines, character developments, and setting creation. The Maid walks into the room; Sam sees her and is very nice to her; the Maid is equally randy and everything just goes from there. Hot lesbian sex here we come! Every one of these scenes is as slick and as good as that. And the action is, make no mistake about it, hot. Automatic five stars for this one.

First Impression: The concept for this video reminds me much of the “Sandy’s Sex Fantasies” series, where she goes from place to place seducing her friends and strangers. Sam is no Sandy (although she does make an appearance here), but she pulls off the performance nicely with her own style, which is somewhat more refined than the sex romps of the fantasy series. Refined, you ask? By that I do not mean that this video is tame, and it’s just as explicit as Viv Thomas ever gets. Its just that Sam seems to have a more elegant bearing than the oh-so-naughty Sandy who always had that “I’m a lesbian sex kitten” look in her eyes. Yes, the sex is formulaic, but there are many locations and variations to keep you interested, and it’s a very good formula, which would be hard to improve on. First, Sam seduces her willing victims with sexy compliments, soft caresses and deep kisses. Then, she moves on to breast play, and necking. By then, they’re both so hot they completely disrobe and the heat really begins. There is plenty of kissing spread throughout, lots of oral sex, and even some simulated trib, and strap-on action. Congratulations to ALL of Viv’s crew, especially the production design team. The costumes, props, and settings are all superb, and of course the models are as stunning as anything you’re likely to see this side of a fashion runway. The cinematography is crisp, clear and full of mouth-watering close-ups. All in all, this is another rousing success for Viv and his crew. And can you believe it? You can actually hear some of the sounds of the lovemaking over the music, even the soft kissing. That’s all that was missing from his films attaining perfection, but the sound is still too low to be realistic in my book. Recommended? Are you kidding? Unless you don’t like high production values, sharp camera work, and beautiful women making love to each other, you’d be crazy to skip it. For the 2% of you who don’t like these elements, I guess you’ll be looking for the next edition of “Lesbian pretenders playing with toys” (I really hope there’s not a movie being sold here with that title!). Grade: A.

Don't get me wrong, I liked this tape, but some people will find it tame. It isn't explicit but simulated sex because of the old UK adult laws (i.e. no penetration). The women are beautiful, great camera work and everything else. The kissing varies greatly between scenes. The “artist” scene is exceptional. She's in the fourth vidcap. I think even Sam was surprised by how much the artist wanted to kiss. A fair amount of saliva dripped from their mouths. Very hot. Also, I recall only two toys used. The kitchen scene where the neighbor used a strap-on on Sam. You see the neighbor put it on but then the camera angle changes and you see Sam pressed against the oven with the blonde behind her. The second scene was with the artist and after the kissing, Sam used a dildo on her. Again, the angle doesn't allow you to see anything. My favorite scene was the bar scene, the last two vidcaps. Tina's derriere and her legs are gorgeous. The sight of her and Sam in miniskirts rubbing each other at the bar was the best, albeit way too short. Finally, there are 10 beautiful scenes but I think it'll be blown out of the water when 'Sandy: Season 2' the explicit edit comes out. That's still not stopping me from buying 'Sandy: Season 1'. I gotta see it.

I agree with newfie. Overall a pretty good video, but it just didn't do it for me. I think I’m spoiled by Viv's other offerings, namely the Pink Velvet series, Office Girls, All About Eve, etc. If you really want to see truly great Viv Thomas shit, get the other videos I mentioned and skip this one.

I rented this movie, and it was worth every cent. Hot, erotic, and passionate. I wish Viv Thomas would make an all-interracial movie (black and white girls). I would pay top dollar to view that.

I purchased the unrated DVD a while back but only recently got around to watching it. I’ve bought quite a few Viv Thomas DVD’s but this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. Two things about it that I disliked - the loud, totally overbearing background music in several of the scenes, and the whole deal of Sammy talking to the camera during the scenes was (IMHO) kinda stupid. After buying the "The Art of Kissing" series and several other VT products, I thought this was a disappointing effort. I wasn’t aware that this was a TV series - I had thought about buying 2 and 3, but not now. The music and the chattiness to the camera kinda took away from any eroticism.
